The Euro – Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) will be present at COP18 in Doha, from 3 until 7 December 2012. Experts, professional consultants, or simply people curious about climate change are invited to visit CMCC stand at the Exhibition Hall 4 (booth n. 181) of the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC), Doha. The stand will present materials about research on climate change realized at CMCC, Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), Università Ca’ Foscari of Venice and International Center on Climate Governance (ICCG). More details about this initiative will follow.
“Mediterranean – Climate Regions – ready for a successful adaptation to present and future climate?” is the title of a side event organized by CMCC during which international experts will focus on five regions of the planet similarly affected by climate change impacts and will discuss about a project of collaboration between cities to realistically adapt to the current and future impacts of climate change. The event will take place on December 04, 2012, 13.15-14.45 – Room 6, hall 5, Qatar National Congress Center.

FEEM and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice also organize a side event on “The cost of climate change adaptation: new findings, old gaps and policy implications” on Wednesday December, 5th at 11.30. Here you can find all the information about this event.
