European Space Expo

The European Space Expo is a touring exhibition showcasing the flagship European Space programmes: Copernicus, Galileo and EGNOS, and their benefits and applications. The European Space Expo will visit Milano, between the 18th of September and 4th of October, 2015, with the topic “Food and Space” linked to the theme of the Expo Milano 2015.

CMCC Ocean Lab will take part to Space Expo in the days of Sept. 27-28.
In the afternoon of Sept. 27 at 18:00 a presentation with the title “From space to sea: services and products for fisheries and aquaculture” will be held for the general public present at the exhibition, highlighting services and products of benefit for these categories of users of the sea.
In the morning of Sept. 28, several short courses for students (from elementary to high school levels) will be given on “Studying the sea with forecasting data: which sea conditions do we see?”, presenting and interacting with the students on sea conditions, forecasting tools, sea bulletins and dictionary of the sea.
