The final conference of the OrientGate project

The final conference of the OrientGate project will take place in Lecce, Italy, on December 2 and 3, 2014.

The event “Integrating Climate Knowledge into Planning” will provide an opportunity to review the activities and achievements of the various work packages.

The meeting will begin at 14:00 on Tuesday, December 2, with a roundtable discussion on the topic of addressing climate change through regional cooperation. The discussion will cover the lessons learned and experience gained by the partners, as well as opportunities for cooperation in the future.
The second day of the conference will be dedicated to presenting the OrientGate data platform and the results of the six pilot studies undertaken during the project. The focus will be on adaptation in the forestry and agricultural sectors, adaptation in the water sector, and urban adaptation and health. The meeting will finish at 17:00.

The event will take place in a recently retrofitted former industrial building, Officine Cantelmo, Viale Di Pietro, Lecce.
