Andrea Bigano holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, (Belgium) a M.Sc. in Environmental Economics from the University College London (UK), and a degree in Economics from Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, (Milan, Italy).
He is Senior Researcher at Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei and collaborates with CMCC. He contributes to research on energy markets, externalities, modelling of climate change impacts on the world economy and, in particular, on the interactions between climate change and tourism.
Andrea Bigano has also worked as consultant at Ref., as scientific consultant for the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, an UNESCO research centre based in Trieste, Italy, and as researcher at the Centre for Economic Studies, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven Belgium.
He is author and co-author of publications in the fields of environmental and energy economics (among the others, of journal articles on Climatic Change, on the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, and on Environmental and Resource Economics).
