Sara Martinelli is a Research Associate at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) in the “Numerical Applications and Scenarios” division (ANS).
She obtained the M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna.
She also holds two Post-graduate Masters: the first, obtained from the Alma Graduate School of the University of Bologna, focused on Management, while the second, organized by the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) of Lecce, focused on Operational Oceanography and Computational Techniques for Maritime Safety.
She has some experience of working in private Company, both as analyst and business process analyst, even abroad.
Her main activity concerns software engineering process analysis, thus including software planning, design, monitoring, testing and controlling.
She currently works in the field of operational oceanography within “TESSA” project, a research project aiming to strengthen the operational oceanography service in Southern Italy and to integrate it with platforms for delivering information on situational sea awareness.
