General aims

Set of knowledge of the urban system and identification of the main impacts of climate change on it in order to develop vulnerability maps of such phenomena in the urban area of Naples.


CMCC Role

Provide data scenarios of mean values and temperature and precipitation extremes on the area of Naples city.


Expected results

Definition of innovative methodologies for knowledge and mapping of vulnerability related to climate risks of the urban system.


Activity

The provided data are related to the period 1971-2000 and to the future (2100) using different scenarios (RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5) with the climate simulations at high resolution (8km) over the Italy.
