General aims
Technical cooperation project having the aim of A) Supporting civil protection at different levels and with different tools and methods, to produce exhaustive risk assessments for different periods; B) Improving governance and raising community awareness towards the impacts of s.l. rise and related hazard; C) Fostering cooperation amongst science, affected communities and civil protection organizations within and between targeted Mediterranean areas.

Expected results
- Enhanced understanding of current/future coastal conditions for the Mediterranean region and for specific endangered areas, to support civil protection planning and improve disaster risk reduction;
- Increased cooperation amongst science, civil protection and decision-makers, favoring the creation of a cross-border network and introducing new practices to approach key actors, decision-makers, and stakeholders to the understanding and use of information and methods, normally restricted to the scientific community (development of current practices);
- Development or enhancement of ad hoc tools to produce a multi-hazards and risk assessment.
