The outcomes of COP24 and the major insights of the “Paris Agreement Work Programme”.
At COP24 the so-called “Rulebook”, that is the package of rules to make operational the Paris Agreement, has been defined. During the webinar, the speakers illustrated the key elements of the text adopted, in particular regarding the topics of mitigation, adaptation, finance and transparency. CMCC researchers addressed the issues linked to the IPCC Special Report “Global Warming of 1.5°C”, the “Global Stocktacke”, the “Talanoa Dialogue” and the role of civil society in climate negotiations.
