CMCC participates in United Nations Global Compact

The Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate Change (CMCC) joined United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate responsibility initiative that networks
business and non-business entities engaged in areas of human rights, labour, environment, anti-corruption and contributing to UN goals in order to achieve the common objectives of building a sustainable and inclusive global economy.

By joining the UN Global Compact, CMCC declared to embrace, support and enact the ten principles derived from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International
Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development, the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.

CMCC will take part in the activities of the UN Global Compact and, furthermore, commits to advance the ten principles within its sphere of influence, and to make a clear statement of this commitment to its stakeholders and the general public.
