ICCG Best Climate Practices observatory promotes innovative solutions for water management at Ecomondo

The event: “ICCG Best Climate Practices observatory promotes innovative solutions for water management at Ecomondo” has been organized on November 8, 2016 (11.30 a.m.).

The ICCG Best Climate Practices observatory presents the best ideas and projects to address water management and food production at Ecomondo.

Ecomondo is the largest showcase for green and sustainable technology in the Euro-Mediterranean area and takes place in Rimini, Italy. Ecomondo – Green Technology Expo marks its 20th edition in 2016.

After having successfully brought the experience of the 2015 Best Climate Practices contest to the Seeds&Chips International Summit of Food Innovation in May, the International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) replicates the initiative and goes deeper, presenting an overview of strategies and practical solutions to address the climate impacts on food production, the exploitation of water resources in agriculture and the sustainability of the food system. By using videos and researchers’ contribution, the event brings together innovative ideas and bottom-up best practices that participated in the 2015 Best Climate Practices on “Water, food production and climate change”, as well as policies and economic initiatives experimented in Italy and at the international level.
