Francesca Carlotta Brusa graduated in International Relations at the LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. During her studies she focused on the analysis of the socio-economic dynamics within the African continent with particular reference to the Sahel area and southern Africa. She previously worked within the institutional landscape, first in Italy at the DGMO VI for Southern Africa and the Great Lakes of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and then in Mozambique at the Italian Embassy in Maputo. At the CMCC Foundation she carries out research activities in the context of national and international projects related to adaptation to climate change.
