Giovanni De Cillis is a Postdoctoral Researcher at CMCC OPA since June 2021.

He graduated in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 at the Politecnico di Bari.

He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Bari in 2021 with a thesis titled “Numerical study of wind turbine wakes using modal-decomposition techniques and stability analysis”.

His current research activity is mainly dedicated to numerical modeling of coastal oceanography processes using an unstructured-grid finite-element model.
