Carmine De Lucia in March 2020 obtained the Master’s Degree in Mathematics with 110/110 cum laude at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli”. In collaboration with the Italian Aerospace Research Center (CIRA) he developed the Master thesis entitled: “Numerical methods for solving ordinary differential equations in large eddy simulations of turbulent flows”. Currently he is junior researcher at the CMCC (REMHI-Regional Models and geo-Hydrological Impacts division), engaged in development and modelling activities. In particular, he deals with the coupling of atmospheric with oceanic models, and simulations with advanced meteorological models.
