Francesco Repola graduated in February 2020 in Electronic Engineering for Automatic Control and Telecommunications at University of Sannio. He wrote his Master Degree thesis in collaboration with the Laboratory of Meteorology of CIRA ( Italian Aerospace Research Center) about the development of a predictive model for high troposphere winds by data mining techniques. From March 2020 he is working as junior researcher for the REMHI (Regional Models and geo-Hydrological Impacts) division of CMCC Foundation. His main task concerns regional models, he is involved in activities of development, simulation and performance assessment. He collaborates also in projects concerning the development of indexes and tools for extreme events detection and forecast. Finally, he offers technical support in activities related to geospatial data manipulation and visualization.
