I received a degree in Physics at the University of L’Aquila in October 2014 and I am completing my PhD at the same University, Department of Physical and Chemical Sciences. I Joined CMCC in Bologna to work for the Climate Simulation and Prediction Division. I am also Affiliated of CETEMPS (L’Aquila, Italy)
My research activity has been carried out partly in the University of Reading (Reading, UK) where I have been long term visitor twice, International Centre for Theoretical Physics (Trieste, Italy) which I visited many times, University of Helsinki (Helsinki, Finland).
I moved to CMCC to work on Blue-Action, a project that investigates Arctic-Midlatitude interactions.
I contributed to 3 peer-reviewed publications on topics of subseasonal-to-seasonal predicatbility and 2 are in preparation. I worked mostly on El-Nino teleconnections, sea-ice atmosphere interaction, stratosphere dynamics.
