Interreg Greece-Italy has won the Interreg Project Slam 2021 Social Media Award with the video realized by the project OFIDIA2

Our video, sharing the story of the Ofidia 2 project – a fire detection and warning system – which supports fire fighters with data and analysis of the risk and severity of potential wildfires secured over 1,300 likes in the one-week campaign.

The Grand Final of the Interreg Project Slam 2021 was held in Brussels on Oct. 7th with live video streaming on the Interact Facebook page.

This initiative is organised by Interact, the EU programme that supports all cooperation programmes, and this year it was in connection with the European Cooperation Day.

To participate, the Interreg programmes are called to share their most creative stories about the results and impacts of cooperation across borders. The competition is meant to promote innovative communication and reward the project that most successfully communicated the achieved results.

After winning the Social Media Award, OFIDIA2 was also voted as the best Interreg project in the competition.
