Sixth IAERE Annual Conference 2018

The Sixth IAERE Annual Conference will be held at the University of Turin on 15-16 February 2018. The event is jointly organized by IAERE and the Department of Economics and Statistics ‘Cognetti de Martiis’ (EST).
CMCC Foundation researchers Francesco Bosello, Andrea Bigano, Gabriele Standardi, Shouro Dasgupta, Laura Bonacorsi, Carlo Giupponi, Carlos Dionisio Pérez Blanco will join the conference.

During the closing ceremony, the Association will announce this year’s Awards: the IAERE 2018 Young Environmental Economist Award, a recognition given to the best paper presented by a young economist at the IAERE Annual Conference, with which the Association aims to reward new ideas addressing key environmental and resource economic issues at the national, European and global scale; and the IAERE 2018 Best Poster Award, which will be granted to the best poster presented, according to criteria of research quality and originality.
Last year among the awardees was CMCC researcher Shouro Dasgupta, for the paper entitled “Impact of Climate Change on Malaria: A Quantile Regression Analysis”.
