Available the Book of Abstract of the event jointly organized by the main Italian Scientific Societies involved in the study of climate, in Rome on November 19-20, 2015. An unprecedented event to share and discuss up-to-date knowledge on climate, with the contribution of over 400 renowned experts and researchers at the national and at the international level

It’s now available the Book of Abstracts of the event “Rome 2015 – Science Symposium on Climate”.
Hosted by FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) on 19-20 November, 2015, the event involved internationally renowned keynote speakers, scientists gathering in parallel sessions for scientific in-depth analyses, decision makers and experienced people whose activities are related to the scientific knowledge on climate.
The conference aimed to involve scientists, researchers and policy makers to provide a focused summary of the key impacts of climate and climate change on natural and socio-economic environments, and highlight needed response actions and related policies on adaptation and mitigation activities, ahead of the UNFCCC Conference of Parties in Paris, COP21, on Dec 2015.
The themes discussed during the Symposium provided a unique opportunity to explore action areas that hold significant potential to support food security, climate change adaptation and mitigation.
The event had the official support of COP21; more than 400 experts and researchers joined the debate.
