Supercomputing: CMCC ranked in the Top500

The CMCC is ranked in the Top500 list of the world’s top supercomputers: CMCC supercomputer is in particular 121st on the list.
The Top500 list is a six – monthly classification of the world’s fastest supercomputers to be released in June and November, in conjunction with the major conferences about supercomputing. It is compiled by Hans Meuer of the University of Mannheim, Germany; Erich Strohmaier and Horst Simon of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; and Jack Dongarra of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
The current ranking was just released Monday, June 18, at the 2012 International Supercomputing Conference in Hamburg, Germany.
