Graduated in Physics from the Federal Rural University of Rio de Janeiro (2005), with a Master’s degree (2008) and Ph.D. (2016) in Ocean Engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Currently, he is a Researcher at the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC), where he conducts research in the areas of climate variability and ocean mesoscale dynamics, ocean-atmosphere interaction, and the river-sea continuum. He also serves as a visiting professor at the University of Salento (UniSalento), within the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences and Technologies.
