Postdoctoral researcher at the Global Coastal Ocean Division (GOCO), CMCC Foundation – Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change, in Lecce, Italy. Holds an MSc in Meteorology from the Brazilian Institute for Space Research (INPE) and a PhD in Ocean and Earth Dynamics from Fluminense Federal University (UFF), with a background in oceanography.

Previously held postdoctoral positions at INPE, focusing on wave–ice interactions, and at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), working on atmospheric modeling of coastal regions using the WRF model.

Has broad experience in ocean and wave modeling, including the use of COAWST, ROMS, WW3, and SWAN systems. Also worked at the Brazilian Navy Hydrography Centre (DHN) and at the Center for Weather Forecasting and Climate Studies (CPTEC), focusing on operational and climate prediction.

Current research interests include global and coastal numerical modeling, wave interactions with ice, atmosphere, and ocean, as well as the analysis of buoy and satellite data.
