More information

The Global Climate and Health Summit, taking place in London from July 16 to 17, will address the urgent and growing intersection of climate change and human health.

CMCC researcher Shouro Dasgupta, a member of the Summit’s Steering Committee, is actively contributing to the event and has played a key role in drafting the Guiding Principles Consensus Statement, a shared commitment by participants to accelerate action at this critical nexus.

Through an innovative programme of workshops, group sessions and keynote speakers, the event will:

  • Shape the agenda – Help drive action on heat, air pollution, and nutrition at the intersection of science and policy.
  • Build global networks – Connect with leaders across research, government, and civil society.
  • Turn evidence into impact – Co-create solutions that protect health and the planet.

The Summit will convene researchers, policymakers and climate experts to tackle the urgent health challenges posed by climate change.
