Held at the Palazzo dei Normanni, the event will welcome experts and leaders from Africa, Italy, and Europe to align research, investment, and policy around the goals of creating jobs and opportunity for Africa’s next generation. The event will focus on two transformative central themes: Growth and the Energy Transition and Agricultural Transformation and Job Creation.
Giulio Boccaletti, CMCC Scientific Director, will be among the keynote speakers in the panel dedicated to the “Energy Mission”, which brings together leading voices from academia, development finance, and policy to discuss how mission-driven approaches can unlock Africa’s energy transformation.
Co-hosted by the World Bank Group Institute for Economic Development with the Bank of Italy, Italy’s Ministry of Economy and Finance, and African partners, AGORA is an instrument for turning evidence into action, shaping policies, and building partnerships that deliver results.
