Analyzed climate predictability using multi-model ensemble decadal climate simulations (CMIP5).
Also, studied the seasonal predictability of northern hemisphere blocking frequency and the associated predictive skill for extra-tropical teleconnections in a number of state-of-the-art seasonal prediction systems.
Currently working on the origins of seasonal predictability in the extratropics and the representation of low-frequency variability processes in seasonal predictions.
