Jacopo is a collaborator at the CMCC (RAAS division). He holds a master’s degree in Sciences and Technologies for the Environment from the University of Padova (2019), and he completed is Ph.D. in 2024, with a topic on mapping and quantifying impacts of extreme weather events (hailstorms and strong winds) in agriculture using remote sensing techniques, specializing in hyperspectral data analysis. At CMCC, he conducts his research as an environmental risk analyst and remote sensing specialist on climate multi-risk assessment, particularly focusing on compounded extreme hot and dry event risks on vegetation and water freshwater systems. Outside of research, his interests are focused on nature, mountaineering, climbing, analog photography and archery.
