Giovanni Zizzi holds a Degree and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Lecce.

During his doctoral studies, he developed a strong interest in IT, which later became his professional focus.

In 2010, he joined the user support unit at the INFN-CNAF computing center in Bologna, and later transitioned to a system administration role within the same center.

Since November 2018, he has been working as a system administrator at the Bologna site of CMCC where he is responsible for user IT support, local network management, and on-site server infrastructure.
