On November 30th, 2015, from 12.30, the Milan offices of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei will host the presentation of the book: “Il clima che cambia. Non solo un problema ambientale“, by Carlo Carraro and Alessandra Mazzai, edited by Il Mulino.
Book presentation:
Carlo Carraro
Professor of Environmental Economics, Ca’ Foscari University Venice;
Scientific Director of Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei;
Director of the International Center for Climate Governance.
Discussion held by:
Valentina Bosetti
Research Associate at FEEM and
Massimo Tavoni
Coordinator of the FEEM Milan program ‘Climate Change e Sustainable Development’.
Coinciding with the 2015 Paris Climate Conference (COP21 November 30 – December 11), a critical step towards a universal and legally binding agreement on climate, an expert panel on climate policies and economics will discuss the effects climate change has, not only on the environment but also on people’s lives and on society in general. In order to understand how sustainable development can be achieved in the future, it becomes necessary to have a closer look at the past.
The book “Il clima che cambia. Non solo un problema ambientale” will be available for purchase during the event.
