The Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC) will participate in the 6th ESP Europe Conference 2026, taking place from 18 to 22 May 2026 in Prague. The conference, titled “Advancing ecosystem services knowledge for achieving a nature and people positive Europe”, will bring together scientists, policymakers, practitioners, and stakeholders to discuss the role of ecosystem services in supporting climate resilience, biodiversity protection, and sustainable development across Europe.

CMCC researchers will contribute to the conference programme through a series of presentations focused on Nature-based Solutions, ecosystem services, climate adaptation, and policy integration. Contributions will include insights on ecosystem service-based risk assessment modelling, co-innovation labs for transformative Nature-based Solutions, and policy frameworks supporting resilient landscapes and soil health restoration.
