Bringing together researchers, institutions and stakeholders, the conference provides a multidisciplinary space for reflection on environmental transformations, socio-economic challenges and adaptation pathways in mountain regions. Discussions will address the consequences of deglaciation on ecosystems, water resources, cultural heritage and local economies, while exploring strategies to strengthen resilience and sustainable territorial development.
Within this framework, Fondazione CMCC will contribute with the presentation “S.H.A.P.E.-ing Alpine Resilience: Toponymy and Eco-grief in Glacier Loss Adaptation on Monte Rosa” by Elisabetta Dall’Ò.
