Kick-off meeting

The GRACE project, coordinated by CMCC, held its Kick-off Meeting in Venice, officially launching the activities of this Horizon Europe initiative aimed at strengthening the capacity of rural and remote communities across Europe to adapt to climate change.
Bringing together 27 partners from 16 countries, the meeting marked the start of a collaborative effort to co-develop nature-based climate adaptation solutions with Demonstrator Regions in Portugal, Italy, Austria, Denmark, and Sweden, and to prepare their replication in Greece, Slovakia, Ireland, Latvia, and Ukraine.
Through this joint work, GRACE seeks to empower local actors, foster transformative action, and contribute to building a more resilient future for Europe’s rural areas.
