Osman Hakan Can is a postdoc junior researcher at EIEE, working on biodiversity and ecosystems within the ECONATURES project. He is completing a PhD in Environmental Economics at the University of Barcelona, holds an MSc in Economics from University of Barcelona, and a BSc in Computer Engineering from Bilkent University. His research uses remote sensing, spatial analysis, and causal inference to study environmental shocks, ecosystem recovery, and environmental policy.
