Bruno is a PhD candidate at Politecnico di Milano in Science, Technology, and Policy for Sustainable Change and an affiliated researcher at EIEE in Milan. He earned both his Bachelor and Master degrees in Environmental Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. His Master thesis, titled “Enhancing Mekong River Basin Reservoir Operations: Balancing Hydropower Production and Sediment Transport”, was developed in collaboration with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), where he also spent two months as a visiting student. His research focuses on contributing a methodological framework for operationalizing the Safe Operating Space concept for water resources at decision-making relevant scales, with a particular emphasis on the Mekong River Basin.
