He graduates in Agricultural Science (2008), he got master degree in Animal Production (2010) and he achieved the PhD in Agrofood System (2015) at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Piacenza. He is assistant professor (RTD-A) at Università della Tuscia – DIBAF (Viterbo). He had post-docs at the Institute of Zootechnics (UNICATT, Piacenza) and at the LBBMA (UNESP, Araçatuba).
He has been involved in many research projects focusing on the use of molecular genetics in livestock breeding and biodiversity. Expert in big data analysis and Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence methods, also applied to evaluate climate change effects on the livestock sector.
