Alessandra Nuzzo is a junior scientist at the Advanced Digital Innovation Center (ADIC) of the Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC). She earned a cum laude degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Salento and her research focuses on data analysis and scientific computing applied to climate change, with particular attention to data management and database management.

She is actively involved in several national and international projects, contributing to the development of data-driven methodologies, scalable infrastructures, and innovative solutions for managing and analyzing environmental and climate-related data.

Since 2016, she has been leading the activities of the Data Statistics Working Team within the Earth System Grid Federation (ESGF), one of the largest collaborative data initiatives in earth system science, with the aim of providing useful statistical information on the earth and climate data usage within the federation.

Beyond her technical background, Alessandra also attended an extra-curricular course in Renaissance Engineering at the University of Salento. This program integrates engineering education with humanities and social sciences, enriching her multidisciplinary expertise.
