Quartini Enrica

Enrica Quartini is the Scientific Program Manager for the Integration of Planetary & Industrial Carbon Cycles (ICC) program. Her work focuses on developing and managing interdisciplinary research projects and fostering cross-institute alignment to translate scientific research into actionable strategies for climate and decarbonization.

She holds a Ph.D. in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin, with a concentration in geophysics, and has extensive experience in project management of international and multi-institutional scientific research efforts. Before joining CMCC, she managed research programs at Cornell University, Georgia Institute of Technology, and the University of Texas Institute for Geophysics, leading polar and planetary science projects that integrated airborne geophysical surveys, remote sensing, and field robotics in Antarctica, the Arctic, and Mars analog environments.

Enrica has complemented her scientific background with formal training in organizational improvement, project management, and leadership psychology through the University of Texas at Austin and Cornell University. Her multidisciplinary expertise spans scientific program development, stakeholder coordination, and capacity-building initiatives that foster effective collaboration and long-term program sustainability.
