Amsalu Woldie Yalew is a researcher at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and Euro-Mediterranean Center on Climate Change (CMCC). He has previously worked as postdoctoral researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany, and Lecturer of Economics at Debre Berhan University in Ethiopia. His research mainly focuses on the economics of climate change, energy, and food systems in developing countries using multi-sectoral and -regional CGE models. He is also an adjunct and teaching Environmental Economics at the University of Padova. Amsalu holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Technische Universität Dresden.
