General aims

The purpose of this tender is to assist the OECD in implementing the various components of climate change damages in the ENV-Linkages model, by sharing their expertise with calibrating damages in their own models, ICES and WITCH.

CMCC Role

CMCC will:

  • deliver detailed information to numerically specify the range of climate damage components as considered in the models operated by CMCC at the lowest available regional and sectoral level. CMCC will deliver the damage estimates used in its numerical assessments for calibrating ENV-Linkages
  • provide technical guidance on the implementation of these damages in the ENV-Linkages model code and if necessary revision of the methodology and calibration data
  • a brief technical documentation which details the approach and justifies the calibrated numerical values

Expected results

Quantitative dataset on climate change impacts and technical report detailing the approach followed and justifying the calibrated numerical values.
