6th World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists: the call for papers is open

Posted on

The call for papers for the 6th World Congress of Environmental and Resource Economists (WCERE 2018) is still open.
The five-day congress will take place on June 25-29, 2018, at the School of Business, Economics and Law, which is part of the University of Gothenburg, Sweden.

The WCERE 2018 aims at being both deep and broad. The event delves into economic theory to understand the mechanisms behind social change but listens also to subjects such as political science and history as well as the many natural science disciplines that help us understand the resource and environmental challenges we face. The congress hopes, in addition to theory and empirical studies, also to engage with the policy agenda.

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit theoretical and empirical papers in all areas of environmental and natural resource economics for presentation.
Suggestions for special  invited sessions are also welcome.

The deadline for complete submissions is 31 January 2018.
Notification of the outcome of the review process is scheduled for 30 March 2018.
Authors must be registered for the congress by 8 May 2018 in order for their paper to be included in the program.
