The winning projects of the Climathon marathons that took place in 18 Italian cities have been presented on November 9, 2017, at Ecomondo (Rimini Exhibition) during an event organized by Climate-KIC Italy. Among them, the ideas awarded at the Climathon events of Lecce, Venice, Sassari and Bologna with CMCC involvement and participation.

After a presentation of the awarded projects, the delegates of local institutions, such as Donatella Spano (assessore all’ambiente della Regione Sardegna), Francesca Lucchi (assessore all’ambiente del comune di Cesena), Fabio Pinna (assessore all’ambiente del comune di Sassari), have discussed with Angelica Monaco, Climate-KIC Italy Director, and Mauro Buonocore (CMCC Foundation) how to engage the civil society to address climate change.
