Decadal predictability of North Atlantic blocking and the NAO

Posted on

Decadal predictions are important to study climate evolution on multiannual to decadal timescale. On February 26, 2019, Panos Athanasiadis, CMCC researcher at CSP Division, held the webinar “Decadal predictability of North Atlantic blocking and the NAO” illustrating the latest breakthrough in the field of decadal predictions, with a special focus on the documented predictability for the North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) and blocking in the North Atlantic.
