Green Growth Knowledge Platform welcomes CMCC Foundation as new Knowledge Partner

Posted on

Given the CMCC’s extensive research consortium, interest in sharing its research and knowledge broadly, and efforts to facilitate dialogue among researchers, governments, and civil society to support concrete actions, the CMCC has been accepted into the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP) as a GGKP Knowledge Partner.

The GGKP is a global partnership of leading international organisations, research institutes and think tanks focused on: i) identifying major knowledge gaps in green growth theory and practice and addressing those gaps by promoting collaboration and coordinated research; and ii) using world-class knowledge management and communication tools to give practitioners and policymakers the analysis, guidance, information and data necessary to support a green economy transition.

The GGKP was established in January 2012 by the Global Green Growth Institute, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Bank.

CMCC will be part of a network of leading institutions interested in regular exchanges about their respective work programs in the green growth space and collaboration on research and knowledge sharing activities. Knowledge Partners are also instrumental in fostering a green growth community of practice through contributions to the GGKP web platform www.greengrowthknowledge.org and other outreach activities.
