Film is an immediate means to communicate the importance and complexity of the climate change related issues.
On 20th – 21st October 2011 the “Think Forward Film Festival”, dedicated to climate change and renewable energy, will be held at the Fondazione Querini Stampalia, in Venice.
Think Forward is a project created by the International Center for Climate Governance, and aims to communicate the issues related to climate change to a wide and diverse audience as well as discuss and explore the issues related to renewable energy and water. Screenings of short films and feature films shot and produced by environmental filmmakers from around the world, and discussions with experts and international guests will enliven the two-day festival. Think Forward aims to involve the audience, encouraging them to consider the importance of environmental awareness as well as the promotion and protection of the environment.
The event is organised by the International Center for Climate Governance, in collaboration with the Fondazione Querini Stampalia and the Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Climate Change.
