ARCADIA is returning with its Second Festival of Transformative Nature-Based Solutions… and this time, it’s heading to Denmark.
This edition focuses on regional transformations and upscaling pathways: how we move from local pilots to Europe-wide change, and how policy, science, and communities can drive that transition together.
ARCADIA in collaboration with Klimafolkemødet explore these questions through distinct initiatives:
11:00 – 11:45 | High-level Political Panel Debate – Europe Under Pressure: Climate Adaptation as a Shared Responsibility.
The debate, featuring Jaroslav Mysiak, CMCC Principal Scientist, will explore EU frameworks and funding, how to tackle inequalities across countries hit by extreme weather, and whether nature‑based solutions are truly a political priority. Join the discussion on shaping Europe’s climate future.

14:30 -16:50 | Science Corner – Knowledge-intensive TED-style talks from researchers and practitioners

The CMCC Foundation leads cross-regional support & synthesis, and supports design and performance of nature-based solutions and infrastructures as well as their integration in governance, policy and finance.
