COP30
20 November 2025, h. 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM (local time in Belém) | Belém, Brasil – Digital Pavilion

In the framework of the CMCC’s coordinated project Adaptation AGORA, at the Digital Pavillon of COP30 in Belèm will take place an interactive workshop, which will showcase how innovative Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools are revolutionizing citizen engagement and capacity building in climate adaptation.

The highlight of the session will be a live, interactive workshop guided by Marina Mattera, CMCC Project Manager, overseeing the Adaptation AGORA Project, where all participants can team up to compete using the Adaptation AGORA Mobile App.

During the event, participants will know more about key project results, including the Policy Whitepaper and Digital Handbook, and get a firsthand look at the suite of ICTs: the AGORA Community Hub (ACH), Climate Data & Disinformation Academies, and the flagship Mobile App.

An opportunity to discuss how to overcome barriers to digital literacy and climate action and experience new tools.

This event is one of the several CMCC contributions to COP 30, the 30th edition of the Conference of the Parties (COP) organized by the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

COP 30 is a major United Nations climate conference that brings together world leaders, non-governmental organizations, and experts to negotiate and advance global actions to address climate change.  The conference will focus on implementing international climate agreements and promoting sustainable development through priority actions to tackle the climate crisis.
