The 6th European Agroforestry Conference, EURAF2022, is here to come!
From the 16th to the 20th of May Nuoro will welcome more than 250 researchers, students, farmers, forestry and agriculture extentionists and consultants, coming from all parts of Europe but also from other continents to discuss about the role of trees in agriculture for the environment, the economy and the landscape.
Research results, case studies, experiences, projects regarding agroforestry will be debated during the conference plenary and parallel sessions, located at the Eliseo Theatre and the Chamber of Commerce in Nuoro.
Four study visits planned in four agroforestry experimental sites – (agro)silvopastoral system in Santu Lussurgiu, Sant’Antonio at Macomer, Monti and windbreaks in Arborea – will make EURAF2022 participants enjoy the Sardinian landscape.
Side-events and further social initiatives will contribute to make new ideas surge and/or find answers and possibly solutions agroforestry can provide to questions to climate crisis, biodiversity safeguard, farm management, innovation and sustainability of crops, timber and livestock productions, preservation of the landscape.
Five days to foster discussion on agroforestry topical issues to be addressed to policy makers and institutions. EURAF2022, a voice for change from the heart of Mediterranean.
