The first Annual Meeting of the Institute for Earth System predictions has been organized in Bologna, starting on Wednesday 4th December at 14:00 pm (with the registration) and the last session will conclude on Friday 6th December at 13:00 pm (with a final lunch).
The meeting aims to present the latest research findings, offering an opportunity to learn more about work and meet colleagues.
The program includes an opening Town Hall followed by a keynote lecture by Gabriel Vecchi: “Linking past and future hurricane activity changes“.
The agenda of the meeting will be structured as follows:
DAY1
Opening of the meeting, CMCC Town Hall: Discussion on scientific and operational strategic directions.
Overview of Institute and Divisions, CMCC Lectures series (G. Vecchi).
DAY2 – Parallel Sessions:
Scientific sessions: discussion of strategic topics of the Institute (Room: Auditorium).
Management sessions: discussion of operational and management topics (Room Arancio).
DAY3
Fundraising Session, Virtual Poster competition award, final keynote lecture (S. Bordoni).
