The first CPO (Climate Policy Outreach) Modellers Meeting organized by The Euro-Mediterranean Center for Climate Change (CMCC) will be held on September 16th 2010 in Seoul, Korea, within the context of the third meeting of the Asian Modelling Exercise (13th – 15th September 2010).
The Climate Policy Outreach – CPO – Project aims at improving autonomous modelling capabilities in developing countries, and of advancing the dialogue among modellers and with policy makers, both in developing and developed countries.
The first CPO Modellers Meeting, which will be followed by three Modellers meetings during the project implementation cycle, aims at enhancing interaction between modellers which could lead to a mutual improvement in the modelling tools and in the understanding of how to take into account a gradually developing global carbon market, as foreseen by Work Stream 2 of CPO project.
