The MAGICA Final Event will take place on 25 September 2026 in Brussels, marking the conclusion of four years of collaboration under the Horizon Europe MAGICA Project. Bringing together 24 organisations from 13 countries, MAGICA has served as the Coordination and Support Action for JPI Climate, fostering stronger connections between science, policy, funding organisations, and society to accelerate climate action.

Throughout its lifetime, MAGICA has advanced the science–policy interface through knowledge brokerage, strategic dialogue, capacity building, and supporting flagship initiatives such as the Equinox Process, the Climate Neutrality Forum, and the JPI Climate Knowledge Hubs. From convening Europe’s climate research community to identifying priorities for research and funding, the project has helped build a more coordinated and impactful climate research landscape. The final event will showcase these achievements, reflect on the lessons learned, and explore how MAGICA’s outcomes, networks, and legacy will continue to support European climate research and innovation beyond the lifetime of the project.
