Eleonora Mattacchione is a Junior Scientific Manager at ATEC.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Law, with a focus on International Human Rights Law, and a Specialising Master’s in International Cooperation and Development, with a work on the analysis of the effects of climate change on women’s and children’s rights.

In her professionals experience she has addressed the nexus between climate justice, gender equality and the protection of vulnerable social groups. She has also carried out advocacy and research activities on these topics, managed projects funded by both the European Commission and national donors, and gained experience in project planning. Her skills entail the development of policy proposals, the coordination of multi-stakeholder initiatives, and the promotion of social inclusion through education and awareness-raising initiatives.
