Mittal Parmar has been a PhD researcher at the Institute for Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences at Goethe University Frankfurt since September 2023. Her PhD project is funded by IDEA S4S, and she is currently collaborating with CMCC. Her research focuses on understanding and improving the performance of ICON-Seamless at seasonal timescales and comparing the land surface models JSBACH and CLM, with particular emphasis on frozen soil and snow physics. She completed an integrated MSc in Physics at the National Institute of Technology, Surat, India.
